Saddle up for the ranch life
Bruce and Tina Lawrence built Valley View as a full American horse ranch in the Herefordshire countryside, and they did not do it by halves. Guests sleep in western-themed bunkhouses and wagons, gather in the clubhouse and the saloon, and can bring their own horse on holiday. Around them are indoor and outdoor arenas, among them an 80 by 40 metre outdoor arena, and a cross-country course.
The aim, in the ranch's own words, is to connect riders with the spirit of the American West through logical and respectful horsemanship. Its Quarter Horses have competed internationally, and they are chosen to look after nervous riders too.
