Fallowbrook Western Riding Club
Out among the Kentish orchards, a riding club coached by a dressage rider who discovered western riding after back surgery and went on to win a British reining title in her first season.

From dressage to reining
Pauline Norton was a pony-mad schoolgirl who trained with Arthur Kottas and Charles de Kunffy and rode to Medium-level dressage. Then, in 2000, after back surgery, she sat in a western saddle on an American Quarter Horse called Dorito. In her first year of competition she was British Reining Open Hi-Point Champion in two divisions.
Today she is the only UKCC Level 4 western coach in the country, helped build the BEF's first western coaching qualification, and judges for WES and British Dressage. She is WES Welfare Officer and sits on the WES Council. Fallowbrook, the club she coaches, is the biggest western riding club in the South East.
Lessons are fun, lively and I come away with a smile.
