Join us for a focused, educational live Q&A with Cedric Leroux, WES Professional Judge.

Cedric is an experienced all breed judge who has been officiating across Europe since 2001. He holds AQHA judging credentials awarded in 2016 and APHA credentials awarded in 2018, and regularly judges at both regional and international level shows. Based in Belgium, Cedric has also served as team coach at European and World Cup level for Youth and Amateur teams representing Belgium, Denmark, and Norway.

This session is designed to demystify judging and help riders understand what is actually being assessed in the arena. Cedric brings deep rulebook knowledge combined with real world judging experience, offering clarity on correctness, rhythm, balance, and overall presentation across key classes including Trail, Horsemanship, Showmanship, Hunter, and Pleasure.

Cedric is known for his clear, calm explanations and his belief that better understanding leads to better riding. He places strong emphasis on correctness before style, consistency over exaggeration, and fairness across levels, regardless of show size. His perspective helps riders see patterns, manoeuvres, and transitions through a judge’s eyes, removing guesswork and replacing it with informed decision making.
