📕 Biography

I have ridden and been around horses since the age of 10. I have competed in English dressage, jumping, showing, hunter trials and lastly Endurance. I have been riding/ showing Western since mid 1990's working my way up from novice amateur to Amateur in AQHA classes/WES.I achieved UK All-Around Champion 2004 and was successful in Rookie, amateur reining.  I Qualified as a  UKCC LEVEL 3 Western Coach in 2013 and have been coaching my superb clients ever since..

Western training has benefited my English riding clients equally as much as it has my western clients,  improving understanding of and connection with their horses. I work with all types of clients,  those who wish to show and others who just want to enjoy their horses hacking and doing low stress fun clinics and activities. I have found that many of my  clients have come to me lacking in confidence due to accidents, age-related issues etc and I have really enjoyed the challenge of giving them the tools to go forward and re-connect and trust their beautiful horse partners again.

I am a freelance coach and am based near Gatwick Surrey.
