ℹ️ Biography

Honey joined WES in late 2025 and quickly threw herself into the 500 Mile Trail Challenge aboard her much-loved Dales X pony. Based in the beautiful Forest of Dean, she balances family life with her husband and two youngest sons alongside managing a lively herd of seven ponies – which means winter is mostly spent knee-deep in mud (think Worzel Gummidge chic), while summer is reserved for long evenings in the fields, usually with a beer or locally brewed cider in hand.

Professionally, Honey brings over a decade of communications and business experience to the role. As founder of her own business, Ironmasters Gym Built Strong Ltd, she led all press, marketing and public relations activity, building brand visibility and managing external partnerships. She also co-leads Wilde Earth Journeys CIC, overseeing communications, stakeholder engagement and digital presence within a governance framework.

Passionate about Western riding and community, Honey is committed to strengthening WES’s public profile, championing its members, and supporting sponsors with clear, consistent and engaging communications. She combines practical horse-life realism with strategic PR know-how – and firmly believes that good stories, like good trail rides, are best when shared.
