Three volunteer roles we really want to fill
A Press and PR Officer, a Social Media Lead and an Honorary Treasurer. No marketing background or accountancy needed.
In July we asked for help and nearly twenty of you answered. Some of you then waited far too long to hear back from us; it landed in the middle of the Nationals, and we are sorry. Here is where we are, and the three roles we most want to fill.
Three ways to help run WES
Press and PR Officer
A seat on Council, with a vote. Get WES noticed in the wider horse world and the local press, talk to businesses who might sponsor or partner with us, and help us tell our story. You don’t need a marketing background.
Social Media Lead
A volunteer role, not a Council seat: Facebook, Instagram and maybe TikTok. Two people can share it. We split it from PR on purpose.
Honorary Treasurer
A seat on Council, with a vote. The books are on Xero, and you do not need to be an accountant. Council can appoint until the AGM in March 2027, under section 7.2 of the Constitution.
