Horsemanship Showcase: thank you, and what we learnt

Three brilliant days at Bury Farm: Joe Midgley won the 3 Trainer Challenge, and six members rode the WES Trail Challenge.

The WES team got home smiling, exhausted, and with our social batteries well and truly flat. It was a brilliant three days at the Horsemanship Showcase.

Our pros

WES Approved Pros Joe Midgley, Jolie Cooper, Nicole Sherwood and Clive Johnson demonstrated across all three days. Joe won the 3 Trainer Challenge, and Joe and Ollie Phillips won the Something Fun Challenge.

The WES Trail Challenge

Six members rode the same pattern three times over two days, judged by Pauline Norton with Rob Painter commentating. Thank you to all six riders: Charlotte Ruffet, Jo Summers, Rosie Harford, Quinn Arkle, Alisha Steele and Kirsty Cameron.

What we learnt

The Trail Challenge format worked so well that we will take it to Council as a demonstration for county shows. Thank you to everyone on the stand, to the new members who joined us, and to the sponsors old and new we met over the weekend. Ask a WES Pro returns soon.
