Equilab discount available

WES members can get 40% off Equilab Premium when they sign up on the Equilab website: about £48 instead of about £80. Here is how to get the code.

We have been working with one of the best horse riding apps, Equilab, and have agreed a 40% discount off the online (website) price of their Premium service. For a WES member that is about £48, against the published online price of about £80. It even beats their Black Friday deal.

What Premium gives you

The basic app for your smartphone and smartwatch is free, and many members already use it. Premium adds:

• Live safety tracking: share your location with contacts whenever you ride, and send alerts if you stop moving.
• Detailed statistics: top speed, elevation and more data from your training.
• Enhanced trails: share trails with friends, download them, and search and filter on the map.
• Trends: graphs of your riding data over time, to help you learn and improve.

How to get the discount

We have set up a private WES group inside the Equilab app. The discount code is in that group.

Step one: if you do not have the Equilab app already, download it. There are links to the Apple and Google stores on the Equilab website.

Step two: install the app and create your account. Keep a note of the email address and password you use: you will need them later to get the discount.

Step three: use the invite link sent by email on the 18th November to join the WES private group in the app. You will find a welcome message and the discount code there. Do say hello.

Step four: if you want Equilab Premium, go back to the website and log in with the account details you saved at step two. Follow the directions and use the code to get the discount.

At some point the app will ask whether you want to share your riding data with WES. It is completely up to you. If you do, your data is included in the occasional reports we get from Equilab.

The group is a place to share your stories, photos and tips with each other. It does not replace our other ways of keeping in touch; it is just another place to meet each other.
