Bob Gale

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Bob Gale, one of the original judges for WES.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Bob Gale of Beck Farm, Histon, Cambridgeshire: one of the original judges for WES and a much-loved member of our western community.

Bob gave so much to the growth and spirit of Western riding in the UK, and he will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, worked alongside him, and stepped into the arena under his watchful and encouraging eye.

His funeral took place on Friday 22 May at Cambridge Crematorium, followed by a wake at The Three Horseshoes, Madingley, Cambridge.

Our thoughts are with Bob’s family and friends.
