Congratulations to Pauline Norton - New Chair of the Judges Committee
We are delighted to announce that Pauline Norton has been appointed as the new Chair of the WES Judges Committee.
Following a selection process completed at the recent Judges Seminar, Pauline was voted into the chair position and this appointment was ratified by the Full Council at their meeting on 10th February 2026.
Pauline brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this important role. As a Level 4 UKCC Equestrian Coach, WES Judge, and current Health and Safety Officer for the Society, she has demonstrated exceptional commitment to maintaining and raising standards across Western Equestrianism in the UK.
Her deep understanding of both judging and coaching, combined with her dedication to animal welfare and safety, makes her ideally suited to lead the Judges Committee as we continue to develop and support our judging community.
The Judges Committee plays a vital role in ensuring consistency, fairness, and excellence in judging across all WES events, and we are confident that under Pauline's leadership, the committee will continue to thrive and grow.
Please join us in congratulating Pauline on her new role. We look forward to working with her and the Judges Committee in the months and years ahead.
